He visits the homes of people suffering from respiratory diseases (mainly asthma and allergies) under a medical prescription.<\/p>\n<p>His main objectives are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>sampling and analysis of domestic pollutants,<\/li>\n<li>producing a diagnosis of the indoor environment,<\/li>\n<li>targets measures for the removal of domestic pollutants,<\/li>\n<li>addressed advices for improvement of indoor environment (ventilation, heating, insulation etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the Pays de la Loire region, IEMA participates in the identification of unworthy housing. Romain Habeau, IEMA at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chu-nantes.fr\/comment-faire-appel-a-un-conseiller-medical-en-environnement-interieur-cmei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nantes University Hospital<\/a> in the respiratory medicine department, works in the Loire-Atlantique and Vend\u00e9e sub-regional areas.<\/p>\n<p>His counterparts from Angers University Hospital and him have been assessing their actions in the Pays de la Loire region since 2016.
